Workshop of the Permanent Cooperation Framework of Accident Investigation Bodies (PCF)

20/12/2019 – Intergo associate Thom Koning was invited at EMSA, Lisbon, at the fourth intersessional workshop of the Permanent Cooperation Framework of Accident Investigation Bodies (PCF), to inform and discuss with delegates from 18 EU-member states the aspects related to human and organizational factors in marine accident investigation. The event focused on assessing safety culture as well as on the impact of procedures on board ships and shipping companies.

In  November Intergo, represented by Thom Koning and Gert-Jan Kamps, was active in Lisbon to execute the training on Advanced Casualty Investigation with emphasis on Human Factor, Accident Analyses and Reporting. This course is the follow up on the Basic Casualty Investigation Course and designed on request of EMSA. Both courses are highly appreciated by participants (EU Accident Investigation Bodies representatives).

We have similar courses available as open training and we can tailormade an accident investigation course to adapt to your specific request. Should you wish to have an assessment of your company safety culture, we are experienced in safety culture assessments in a wide range of sectors, from transport & logistics to construction & healthcare.

See the EMSA newsletter for more details.
